You have seen several original paintings with the option for "prints available." These originals can be offered as a limited edition Giclee print release. Giclee (pronounced "zhee-clay") is French for "to spray on, or " to spray ink." This advanced method of fine art reproduction produces a higher resolution than traditional lithography printing with incredible detail and rich color. Giclee prints are produced on acid free watercolor papers , which gives each piece the same impact as the original work of art .
As with any facet of fine art, giclee printmaking is a very dynamic process requiring high quality standards to produce an excellent image.
And so, just as any worthwhile endeavor needs supporters, if you are interested in participating in the production of a limited edition, you will be entitled to the first signed and numbered prints at an introductory price. This affords the artist the opportunity to go into production and those supporting the work to receive the first prints at "pre-construction" prices for collection or resale.
