Sue Ann Stonesifer received her Masters degree in Fine Art from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland in 1986.  She has an undergraduate degree in Education from Messiah College, Grantham, Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

As an Assistant Professor of Fine Art, Ms. Stonesifer taught drawing and painting at the University of Maryland in Baltimore County and Calligraphy at the Baltimore School for the Arts.    She currently lives and works in her studio in Fells Point, the old center of Baltimore City located by the harbor.  Fells Point is known for it's "artistic"character  and is frequented by tourists who come to enjoy the food, spirits, music and galleries.

Ms. Stonesifer illustrated Victorian Ornament and Pattern Designs published by Stemmer House Publishers, Inc., USA and Houghton Mifflin Company Ltd., Ontario.  In this book, she selected and illustrated the patterns and motifs of prominent Victorian designers.  These designs can be traced, colored, adapted and used as stencil or embroidery patterns, wallcoverings,  furniture, stained glass, and tile decorations...whatever your imagination chooses.  This book is available from Barnes and Noble (www.barnesandnoble.com), Amazon.com (www.amazon.com) or Stemmer House Publishers (www.stemmer.com, click on International Design and scroll down the alphabetical list to Victorian Ornaments Design)  Search by keyword sue stonesifer.
 
Her current and on going project is N'Art, Children N'Art and Language N'Art.  Its mission is to provide a co-operative gallery, studio spaces and classroom space for artists to participate in exhibitions, education, n'art.  N'Art will also be a place where children are exuberant about learning, a place where you will see a classroom filled with faces that light up with the awe of discovery, a place where artists are inspired by children and children are inspired by artists.  Please visit the site N'Art or Children N'Art  for more information.
